Our Blessing in India
As part two of our wedding journey, we’ll be flying to New Delhi and spending our first week exploring the vibrant heart of India. During that week, we’ll be travelling to Amritsar, a place rich in history, culture, and spirituality.
It’s here that we’ll hold our blessing ceremony - a deeply personal and meaningful moment where we’ll exchange our rings, have our hands adorned with intricate henna, and take part in a beautifully inclusive Sikh-inspired blessing that reflects our love and identity.
This will be our moment of grounding, connection, and tradition - surrounded by color, scent, spirit, and soul.
From Blessing to Adventure
After our beautiful blessing in Amritsar, we’ll begin the next chapter of our journey with an unforgettable 16-hour train ride to the south of India - a part of the world known for its breathtaking nature, rich culture, and serene beauty.
We’ll spend our days exploring the lush landscapes, spotting elephants in their natural habitat, and taking in the rhythm of life in the south. What makes this leg of the journey even more magical is that we’ll be there during Diwali, the Festival of Lights - a celebration of joy, colour, and new beginnings.
We’ll dance in the streets, celebrate with locals, and light up the night with lanterns and love. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will stay in our hearts forever.
